Aluminized Steel Type 1 is hot dip coated with Al and Si and used where heat resistance is required i.e. heat exchangers or automotive exhaust systems.

Aluminum coated Type 2 is resistant against atmospheric corrosion and specified worldwide for hot, cold, and sound insulation. Used in refining, chemical and L.N.G. plants.
