Developed 1909 by the former American Rolling Mill Company, Armco Ingot Iron or Armco Eisen became the synonym for the purest steel mill produced iron with a purity of more than 99 % Fe.

Even after 90 years, Ingot Iron is still a very modern product.It has numerous applications ranging from aircraft to zinc coating and various delivery forms from billets for remelting to welding electrodes. These are described on the following pages.
